What's it like: It's a really challenging position being a PET Technical Support Engineer at EFFICIENT, you're 70% problem solving and 30% customer facing. The day begins by going through emails and messages from customers seeking assistance with their pet blow moulding machine. The position calls for a combination of technical knowledge and outstanding customer-friendly communication to help customers in the best way possible.
Providing the Best Customer Service in the Wholesale Market
Customer Service Another major task of a PET technical support engineer at parties is to provide great customer service, particularly in bulk situations where more than one client is triggering the same problem. It’s necessary to be professional yet friendly, when speaking with customers and insuring they are satisfied.
In wholesale, I am primarily dealing with team of technical support engineers for a particular area (US West/East etc) to resolve bulk scenarios which may be affecting many customers. We work together to find a good solution that eliminates the root cause of the problem and ensures it won't happen again. This combined effort is important to providing excellent customer service and keeping our customers happy with our products and support.
This is more than just a run of the mill technical support position. Being a PET technical support engineer at EFFICIENT'S a fast paced and challenging role that requires the right blend of product knowledge, troubleshooting ability, customer service experience and entrepreneurial spirit. By focusing on the needs of customers and working in partnership with my team, I am able to offer excellent wholesale support and help to ensure that our clients are served as best they can be.
Helping Our Importers and Wholesale Clients During COVID-19 With Remote Support.
One of our engineers might start their day by reviewing emails or messages from customers at plants that are experiencing technical problems with the production tools. With the help of remote repair tools, our technicians can diagnose issues and walk a user through solving issues in just minutes. From setting up pet blow molding, fine-tuning your system, or fixing an error in the software, our engineers are here to assist.
Solving Basic PET Equipment Usage Issues.
One of the roles of our PET Technical Support Engineers is to explain some recurring usage issues clients may face with their machines. Problems with bottle production to machine maintenance, from filling or capping faults - our engineers will have the knowledge on how to rectify. With clear operating instructions and helpful tips, our engineers enable clients to ensure effective and long-lasting operation of their PET equipment. Our engineers provide clients continued smooth and successful operations through good communications and problem solving capabilities.
Providing On The Ground Assistance And Training For Bulk Buyers.
Along with offering remote technical support, we can provide on-site assistance and training to our buying-in-bulk customers. From the installation of brand new machines to scheduled maintenance checks, and operator hands-on training our engineers always ensure clients are well equipped and ready to operate their PET equipment at all levels.
